making progress

Riley is doing well...he is tolerating his pedialyte feeds and we are expecting them to move to either the special formula or maybe even milk tomorrow. His belly girth has shrunk some and he has been a happy baby this weekend. He just got his first ever immunization and barely uttered a peep about it. He got a bath in the big boy tub for the first time since mid November and boy did I scrub him good! He loved it. He and his best buddy Carter and charming their nurses and cause quite a bit of attention all the time.

Travis hung out with Jay today and the plan is that he will stay up here with Jay while I go home alone tomorrow. Whatever will I do with myself?? He is SO excited to get to stay up here and see Riley everyday and be with Jay. I"ll be lonely but I'm happy for him.

Otherwise, here are a few pictures of Riley I snapped today. He's growing and changing so fast. he is FULL of smiles now and even laughs. Such a happy baby considering all he's been through. He's 11.5 weeks old, weighs somewhere around 10lbs, not quite sure of the exact amount, and is 22.5 inches long. Growing but still a peanut to me!

Big boy bath!

How about a few Christmas Card outtakes??

Dear Santa....I've been a good boy....mostly :o)

So glad to hear such positive news. It is wonderful that Riley is taking more "baby steps" to eating, and getting stronger. So happy for Travis, to get to spend more time with his Dad and baby brother. And the pictures....Riley is 100% sugar! They couldn't be sweeter, and that smile of his just captures your heart. Precious baby boy. May he be blessed with a good week, and happy moments with Jay and Travis.
Love and many Hugs, Dale

We see him daily and still can't get enough of his cuteness! I know it'll be tough going home for a few days alone, but enjoy the quiet because you sure don't get any of it in the ICN!! I have to go home Monday for work, too which means ALL FIVE boys will be there without us--watch out for trouble :)

He is too dang cute!! I like the expression on his face in the one where he is trying to lift his head. You have handsome boys.
