Came UP to 54!!!!!!!!
Obviously not a huge increase,but they say they seem to finally be stable and should begin to increase gradually. The rest of his day today he will just coast through as he's already been poked at by surgery and had his morning blood work,so nothing else done to him other than diaper changes until tomorrow morning.
I've decided that I will be making a sign to put on his bed that says "I do not like lying flat on my back...please try repositioning before morphine". Todays nurse seems to be another morphine happy one. And while I appreciate they don't want him in pain,I don't want him stoned when he doesn't have to be.
He was moved this morning to his 5th room since arriving here. His roomies this time are 3 MUCH smaller babies. We will miss his old neighbor. A little 2 pounder who would literally crawl out of his little snuggle nest towards Riley's direction when he heard my talking over there. His mom was real friendly too so made for adult conversation...but such is life in a nicu.
