Aquarium fun

Yesterday, our first free Saturday in months, was a yucky and rainy day. So, we made a last minute decision to take the boys to the Aquarium at Fort Fisher. Travis had not been in a while and Riley has never been, and we figured it would make for a good indoor activity.

Riley stood there and giggled at this big python. It's tongue was "so silly" he said.

We all liked the albino alligator

The lady said this turtle looks kind of like a pancake, to which Riley replied "ooh pancakes!"

Yep. That is me. Holding a cornsnake. Which none of my BOYS would touch.

Travis took a notebook and wrote down interesting facts. He did this all on his own.

Travis touched all the animals in the touch tank. Riley wouldn't touch any of them. He likes his animals furry it seems.

I love puffer fish!

The tortoises were really neat to watch.

We had a fun day!

Lindsey, you are mighty brave holding that snake! I'm with Travis and Riley...not for me either! Nice pictures. Glad you all had a fun day! Love, Pauline

Looks like lots of fun you all had! We love taking Annaleigh there. She has a blast and tries to take the touch tank animals with her. :) Love the pictures you took. Love, Debbie, Gary, and Annaleigh
