Santa had helpers last night....

And they drove a big blue truck.

Riley was safely delivered to NHRMC at 12:17am last night (I know the exact time cause of the picture I took) by DUKE LifeFlight. They pulled a team from Smithfield to get him him home for Christmas. He slept the entire way, and truly received a heroes welcome when we walked in the NICU. It was overwhelming. Once in there, he threw the biggest fit I have ever seen him do in my life. Turns out, they stopped his feeds for the ride and he wanted them back NOW.

Travis was released from the hospital this morning under the promise he would DRINK lots. He's doing great and is SO happy to be out of there. He was a real trooper the entire time, and only "lost it" once. I have never been more proud of him.

Pictures later. I have been trying to post this since about 3am this morning and it wouldn't go through from my phone and I couldn't log on via computer.

How Wonderful, Riley is back home!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all!!! What a great gift, to have both of your boys together, finally. It has been a rough few days for you guys. I am so thrilled that everything worked out for you. There are some very special people in this world, and you found that out first hand early this morning. Yes Lindsey!, there is a Santa Claus, and he can work magic. Enjoy your day with Travis and Riley, and I am looking forward to seeing the pictures later.
Hugs and Blessings to you all, on this very special "homecoming"
Dale and family XOXOXO

So glad you are back together for Christmas. Prayers for healing, strength and grace for your family on this day.

Having a child in the hospital during the holidays puts a whole new meaning on "I'll Be Home for Christmas"; it became our anthem last year! Hope you are all in your home together soon.
