Still on for the broviac tomorrow
The surgeon doing the broviac feels ok to go ahead and keep on schedule with doing that tomorrow. The surgeon at duke feels it's ok for Riley to stay here still. Flu and strep swabs came back negative. His temp has come down thanks to the Tylenol, so his heart and breathing rate have improved. They are keeping a close eye on him today for sure. The leading thoughts on what is/was the cause is a PICC line infection or something viral. He does NOT behave like his belly is causing him any discomfort at ALL thank goodness.

Lindsey, Bless his sweet little heart, Riley just can't seem to get a break. I can just imagine the fear that ran through you when you saw the high fever. That is scary for any Mom, but in Riley's case it is shear panic for sure. Hoping and praying that precious "sweet cheeks' recovers from this setback quickly, and that it doesn't affect his feedings (which I know he loves).
Take care of yourself, and know everyone is continuing to pray for you all. I will be with you in thought tomorrow, as you sit and wait for Riley's procedure to be done.
Love to you all, and hugs for Riley!
Dale
Lindsey and Jay, Stay strong for baby Riley. Know that we are with you in spirit as you go through another frightening day. Keeping Riley, you, Jay and Travis in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless, Pauline
We will be thinking about all of you tomorrow as Riley goes through this procedure. Prayers will be all around him and God watching over one of his precious children. Keeping you in thoughts tomorrow, as you and Riley will be joined again soon and that day will be another obstacle overcomed. Debbie and Gary
