Pictures from today

Here are some pictures from today. Too tired to do more than this today.

Mommy loving:

Daddy and Travis wrestling:

The little speck in the middle of the field is Travis

Here you can see the Broviac...
Up by his left collarbone, is the incision where the catheter inserts in his vein. The steri strips are covering the incision (the bloody bandage things in the shape of an "X" by his collarbone).
Then right in the middle of his chest, the broviac exits his body and this is the part that fluids connect to. This sort of bandaging that you see here (this was right after they changed the bandaging from the way he came from surgery), is the way it will stay as long as he has it and the bandaging has to be changed once a week or if it gets wet or peels. None of it seems to bother him. The only thing that bothers me, is the white tube that comes out the middle of his chest, it connects to where the incision by his collarbone is. And you can FEEL the tube just underneath his skin. It's kinda gross. And his face...that's his "darn it I'm hungry" look.

Brigit is going to see if he can score a stroller ride tomorrow. We'll see what the docs say.

Lindsey, Yellow or not, he is still a beautiful baby, and those huge eyes of his just melt the heart. He does still look tiny in the picture of you holding him against you, all wrapped in the blanket, but so sweet and precious. Travis looks like he is having a great time with his Dad this weekend. Bet Jay was glad to get outside, and get some fresh air.
We had a great time with Jason this evening. He's a funny kid, and very talkative now. We really enjoyed spending time with him, and look forward to seeing him again Thanksgiving, along with his Mom and Dad.
Many Hugs for sweet Riley. Enjoy your time cuddling him. Wish I could also.
Love and God Bless, Dale

Lindsey,

He Looks great (other than the yellow skin..which is expected while on TPN for so long). Travis & daddy looked like they had lots of fun...was that at the college?

Keeping you in my prayers.
