Things are good
Riley is having a good day. His midnight platelets were 50 and 8am were 50 so he's kind of holding his own there. They have decided that they are going to change his transfusion requirements so now he will only get a transfusion if his platelets drop th 35 or below. This is actually a good thing as they say he isn't as septic as he was now. They are going to start checking platelets only once a day now. All good things. His replogle will likely come out in the next couple days and they are talking about feeds in the next week if all continues like this. The nurse actually said "since he's on the uphill side of this" meaning he's getting better!! Still a long road to go but things seem to be looking up. Travis got to hold him too. Pictures of that later.

I just found out about Riley and about your blog. I have read it and cried for that precious baby's struggle as I read your entries! He is such a precious boy and I am praying that he continues to get strong! Travis is really growing too! You are soo strong and an amazing mother! I am sure that he can feel all the love that he has! He is a little fighter for sure! Bless his heart!I am keeping your family in my prayers, and I hope that Riley will soon be home with you, Jay and Travis!

Wow! Such a wonderful report for today. What a sigh of relief, and a big weight off of your shoulders, from what you were going through last week. I couldn't be happier for you and Jay. Can't wait to see the pictures of Travis holding his baby brother,(I'm sure I will cry). What a special, and proud moment for you and Jay to share, seeing your two sons together. I'm sure Travis was beaming, and Baby Riley was feeling his love!
