Temporarily. I stepped out for 5 minutes to call Travis and Riley had pulled his replogle tube out when I got back. That was WITH the mitts on. Stinker. Forgot to say earlier, he's rooting. A LOT. Poor baby is hungry.

Speaking of hungry....I thought you said you were pumping and I completely commend you for that. I would keep doing it as long as you can handle it. I pumped for 8 months - my girls never got the hang of breastfeeding. It's such a great gift to give him. It also made me feel like I was doing something to help.
Cathy is an amazing lactation consultant there. She's at Durham Regional a lot, but I think she goes to Duke too. She's a larger lady, in case there is more than one Cathy....
You don't know me but I am a friend of Laurie Singh's. She sent me an email asking for prayers for Riley. I have been reading your blog ever since. My 4-month old daughter was an ICN baby for 14 days so I am very familiar with your surroundings and your feelings of helplessness right now. Hugs to you. You're doing such a great job! Stay strong for Riley and keep posting pictures of that beautiful boy!
He is just so precious, and cute as can be! This picture of him sleeping, well it says it all. "There, I got rid of that thing, now I can rest" I am so glad he is staying so strong, after all he has been through.I continue to pray that he will heal quickly, and that soon you can hold him all you want. Try and get some rest Lindsey, so you can keep yourself healthy also. Sending hugs and love to you and Baby Riley! Dale
