Riley got a cool new big boy bed for Christmas. Since Travis also has a twin bed, we thought it wiser to buy a new mattress for a 10 year old instead of a 4 year old, so before the new bed could be set up, we needed to buy Trav a new mattress. Today, the weather was horrible with strong wind, thunderstorms, torrential rain and tornado warnings. Our plan to go buy a mattress today was not going to work out. But Riley was begging for that cool new bed to be set up. Travis, ever the awesome big brother, said to go ahead and build the bed, Riley could have the mattress, and he would sleep on our air mattress until a new one was bought, even if it took a few days. So we built the bed. And I honestly do not know who had more fun with it today! Tonight, our air mattress is under the bed, in the tent, with Travis sleeping soundly. He asked to sleep in there with Riley. :)
