Taking a rocket to a drive-in movie

Jay and Travis had to make a "car" for him to take to cub scouts, for the annual drive in movie. Basically, they had to build some sort of vehicle for him to sit in and watch the movie. He wanted a rocket.

First, you need a big box

Then you need to draw out some plans

Then begin working on the design

Then it needs some paint

And then it was done!

Can you find him in the crowd?

Riley really enjoyed getting in on the action of building the rocket. Specifically, so he can work on his climbing skills. He has become quite the monkey lately.

Something else about Riley...he now has NINE teeth! Just 6 weeks ago, he only had TWO! He has the 4 middle teeth up top, 2 top molars, a bottom molar and the 2 middle teeth on the bottom. He has about 3 more teeth that are threatening to pop through at anytime.

Wow! That's an awesome rocket. Travis did a great job.

The videos of Riley are too cute. We are very familiar with that temper ~ we hear a tantrum every now and then too. It's like I can almost hear him saying, "if I was back at Duke, you would let me!"
