We have poop

And just like that we have some bowel sounds AND I'm holding him for the first time since before surgery AND he's just had a blowout from his new stoma all over me. The pipes are working!

It is amazing how happy getting pooped on can make you. We felt the same way about pee. I think I cried the first time.

See, Riley just had to move around a little bit. Amazing how an explosion of poop can just make your day!! Way to go "cute stuff", keep clearing those pipes. Thanks for the good news Lindsey. Hope Riley's pain has eased up also. Celebrate with a Mountain Dew.
Hugs all around!

Lindsey, I am happy for Riley's good news and for you to be able to hold him again. That's great to hear. Keep it up, Riley! Love, Debbie and Gary

That is great news! Not for your clothes, but for Riley!!! I'm so glad you were able to hold him, too. I know you were itching to do that for days now. Give Riley and Travis hugs and kisses for us.
