Saturday update

Riley is continuing to make small improvements. He still continues to desat some but not to the point of needing any assistance now thankfully. His incision is looking less angry...yesterday surgery opened it up a little to get some drainage out. He's still having some issues with pain control, but that should improve daily as well. He still has his replogle tube, that will stay until they hear some bowel sounds (none yet) although they had to remove the suction from it because it was making his stomach bleed. So now its just a tube to vent out gas from his stomach. So we are waiting for bowel sounds as the next sign of progress. NHRMC called yesterday to check on him and see about getting him back. Its too soon right now but hopefully soon!
