rash

So the doc just came back and basically said they have no clue about the rash. The only different drug they have given the past 48 hours is the ativan last night. Not sure if its a reaction to that or possibly an anesthesia drug. But the most serious drug reaction is airway issues and since he's on a vent,we are safe there. He still de-sats,pretty severly and I have had enough of that already (turning blue?no thank you). Haven't seen his eyes since one "oh my I'm in terrible pain" moment last night. He lays perfectly still for the most part and when he does move or twitch,he usually also immediately gags on vent and replogle tube.

Praying for the pain and the rash to go away soon. I am so sorry that you will be spending Thanksgiving at the hospital--but Riley is such a special gift that we all have been blessed with and we are all so thankful that he is here on his way to recovery. Happy 8 week birthday, Riley!

Lindsey, I am so sorry to hear about Riley's rash. Keep your head up, I know you've been through lots of things. Just remember, it always got better. Trust that God is watching over Riley and comforting him through these struggles. Love, Debbie and Gary

Lindsey, Being a grandmother, it just tears me up inside, to hear about all the discomfort your precious baby is in. I ache knowing he hurts so badly. If I could hurt for him, I would do it in a heartbeat. I will continue to ask God to please relieve Riley's pain, and help him to heal quickly. I so miss seeing those big eyes, and his beautiful smile. Hoping tomorrow's update will give us something to be extra thankful for. Rest well little sweetheart, and know how much you are loved, by everyone!
Lindsey and Jay, please try and rest. Things will get better, it will just take time.
Love and hugs,
Dale (aka Mom-Mom)
