oh how i hate INFECTION!!!

Picture me just pulling all my hair out as I say that! Because SERIOUSLY hasn't this poor baby had ENOUGH infections? he is 8 weeks old and has NEVER gone more than 5 days in a row without a new need for antibiotics.

They xrayed his belly just a bit ago because his incision began oozing. Nothing of importance was noted in the xray, so just continuing the antibiotics and keeping an eye on things, but his incision area IS definetly infected. Now they aren't sure if it's cellulitis like they said earlier or just good, old-fashioned cooties. I think he will be safer when he gets HOME than he is in the hospital from germs. PRAYING that the antibiotics kill the infection and they will not have to open him back up to investigate.

Lindsey, So sorry that baby Riley has another infection. Praying God will guide the doctors, nurses and surgeons to know how to treat Riley's latest infection. Sweet baby Riley, Keeping you in my prayers...fight little one. Hugs, Pauline

YES! Riley has had more than his share of infections and problems. Hoping and praying they can treat this infection without surgery. You'd think they could use something topical also, besides just antibiotics. Poor little love doesn't get a break. Wishing for a solution to get him better quickly.
Hoping you are feeling better also, and that you were able to enjoy some of the time with your family yesterday.
Hugs for sweet Riley, Dale

Lindsey and Jay, we are hoping the antibiotics are helping with the infection. Poor Riley, he sure has been through enough infections and antibiotics. Hoping this will be the last!! I know you will feel better when he is at home, away from infections in the hospital. We are thinking of you and hoping that you are feeling better too! Love, Debbie and Gary
