Already having to fight

I know I haven't updated yet as to why we are back at duke. The short version is riley is very sickMhas an infwction in his picc line and bloostream and due to those, he could not get his broviac today. So,back to duke where they could take the picc out,treat with iv antibiotics for a few days and then have surgeons up here put in a broviac. He couldn't stay at home cause the surgeon was only at oue hospital today and not again until dec11. He HAS to have a central line. So off he went. Well...now that we are at duke, they don't want to removw the line. They want to leave it, treat through it and if infection clears, no broviac. They don't believe the linw needs to be pulled. We aren't doctors. We only know what was told to us at home by people we trust. Argh. Needless to say,a battle has already begun.I'm so aggravated, as if I didn't already have enough stress. I hate it here so bad.
