This child will be so embarrassed one day....

So last night,Riley surprised us by having output from his stoma. That has continued which is a good thing. It isn't enough yet to put the ostomy bag on, gauze is enough. His nurse also told me that he had a stool from his rectum this morning as well!!! That is such a good thing to hear. Granted its leftover stool from prior to his belly getting sick as no new stool can make it all the way out that way for now. But she said it shows he still has bowel function. A poopy diaper has never made me so happy in my life!! Still a lot going on, but I think that is a sign of prayers being answered. I also got to hear his voice!
