No news all night
For the first time in two days, we have made it through an entire night without a doctor or nurse having to come find us. I was so happy when I looked at the clock and saw it was 7. I woke up so many times last night and was filled with dread as it got closer and closer to 4am. But we made it,which means he did too. Its shift change right now, and soon as that is over I,m going back to see how his night was from 1am when laast saw him till now.

God bless you baby Riley for being such a fighter! You are blessed with the sweetest mommy and daddy and a precious little brother. Make small victories for them again today. Thank you God. Love, Pauline
I'm glad Riley is a little bit better.

Wow. What an awful journey. As I wipe away my tears from reading this, I think back on Don's diagnosis of Crohn's Disease WHEN HE WAS 16 and remember what a heart-wrenching time that was for all of us. Mom's don't like to see their children in pain, no matter their age. You, Jay, Riley and Travis are in our prayers. So sorry this had to happen. jb
How wonderful that you all got some well deserved rest last night. Baby Riley is a real trooper, and doing his best to get better and be cuddled by his Mommy, Daddy, and Big brother.
Prayers and God's blessings to you all.
Love, Dale & Bill
Glad to hear he had a good night!
Lots of prayers going out to all of you..always in our thoughts

The NICU is one place where the old adage is so true - no news IS good news.

Lindsey,
So sorry to hear about little Riley! It isn't fair especially for such a young child to have to go through so much. You are all in my prayers and I am sending you positive energy for a speedy recovery and getting back home!

Lindsey - just got the email from EP. I am PRAYING for you and your precious son!! I will be praying without ceasing to get you through this nightmare!
Lindsey & Family,
Small steps, small victories, all positive. Take care and know that you and your family are in my thoughts. Paula Tayson
I am glad to hear that you had a quiet night. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Lindsey
I had no idea that Riley was having such a difficult time. I am so sorry. I can just imagine how you feel. I had a small scare with Macy when she was born and I know how that was, and it was nothing compared to this. You and Riley will continue to be in my prayers. It seems he is proving he's a tough little guy and I'm sure God will bring him home soon. If there is ANYTHING I can do for you, please do not hesitate to ask. Not sure where you are staying, but the Brownstone Inn, right across from the hospital, is a really good place to stay. It's very comfortable, and they have great food, when you feel like eating again. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. You are in my prayers.

Lindsey,
I am so very sorry that Riley is having such a difficult beginning. I want you to know that Riley, you and the rest of your family are in my prayers and thoughts. I know Riley will continue to fight and make little miracles every day. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.
May God bless you, Riley, Travis and Jay!! Beth
Thank you Lindsay for keeping us posted. Prayers to you and your family: Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: comfort and relieve Riley and give your power of healing to those who minister to his needs, that he may be strenghtened in his weakness and we to have confidence in your loving care; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
