Low platelets
Riley is currently receiving a platelet transfusion as those levels dropped a lot. Of course we find this out just before Jay leaves so very worrisome. Praying that they go up and stay up and whatever is going on in that tummy begins to heal.They did remove his arterial line today. My family just left and my solo journey up here begins.

I know how alone you must feel--especially after having your family here all weekend. Know that we are just a phone call away and can come up as often as you need us.
May time pass quickly and with only good news for you all this week. Our neighbors added your names to their prayer list at their church, so hundreds more adding prayers for Riley this week.
Small steps back but giant steps forward Riley! One day at a time!
I know the transfusions are scary, but they can be so routine. I lost count of how many Natalie and Abby had. His little body is working so hard to get well; just look at it as if he is getting extra help!

I do want to say that I know everything is so overwhelming for you right now, but if you can, just remember you may be alone in respect that no other "body" is with you, but ALL of us are with you in spirit.
