A day full of a full tummy

So it turns out, Riley is really NOT a fussy baby. He was just a very very very hungry baby. Which I kept saying. He was not in pain, or a naturally fussy baby. Nope. He was plain old fashioned HUNGRY. And like I also said, he took to the milk bottles like a champ. Sure he's a little messy with them, but he didn't fuss or get frustrated with the milk bottles like he did the pedialyte bottles. Once he got the first taste, he knew he had the good stuff now and slurp....it was gone. His 8pm bottle, he finished in under 5 minutes. May not sound impressive for only a 1/2 ounce of milk, but considering how he was doing with the pedialyte, this was incredible. And after each bottle?? BURP and then snooooooze. And good snoozing too. Not the kind he had been doing, where the slightest movement caused a huge fit. Nope. We're talking the kind of sleep that you can hardly wake him from. In fact, when the surgeon came by to poke at his belly and drain (major ouch stuff), he commented on how content and less frantic Riley was. Yay for him.

Waiting not so patiently for speech and occupational therapy to get there so he can eat

Oh how i love his monkey toes and long feet, even if they are kind of beat up and peeling right now. In fact, his whole body is peeling. He is well prepared for Halloween!
