I know, I've been a bad blogger! Things have just been crazy around the house. Travis got sick with strep throat and was put on amoxicillin. Threw up every dose of that for 2 days so back to the Dr. where he was given a penicillin shot. Well apparently, he is intolerant to penicillin based medicines. Because he continued to vomit and have diarrhea for about 10 days. poor guy. And needless to say, I was pretty useless with all that cause it made ME vomit. Travis and Jay were troopers though and we made it through and all is well now.
I had an ultrasound yesterday at 12 weeks and 1 day. Here is the best shot of the bunch:
I tried to label it for you so it wouldn't look quite as strange. the baby was lying sideways in my belly facing up to my stomach. So the picture is looking down onto the front of it's face and torso. It was quite active. It seemed to be asleep when the scan first started but after a bit of probing, it seemed to startle and wake up and then squirm endlessly. Saw it last week too at my regular Dr's appointment because he couldn't find the heartbeat with the Doppler. I wasn't worried because we have one at home I heard it the night before. I didn't tell him that though and so he wheeled in the ultrasound machine to take a quick peek. It was quick so no good pictures but it was bouncing all around like crazy that day. Enjoy!
